What to Expect

For Jesus to Be made Much Of

It's Providence’s desire to make much of Jesus not only in our singing, praying, and preaching—but also in how we serve and love one another. It's our hope and prayer that you experience just that when you worship at Providence.

When you visit, you’ll find that our worship service consists of congregational singing, praying, Scripture reading, and a sermon that makes the point of the passage the point of the message. Why do we saturate our worship with God's Word? We sing, say, preach, and pray the Bible in order to point people's attention to the Scriptures so that their affections might be drawn to the Savior.

Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. Prior to our worship service, we meet for adult Sunday school from 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Adult Sunday School (Postponed Due to COVID-19)

Adult Sunday School is intended to equip believers with a biblical theology for practical living. This hour of Christian education is typically more conversational and interactive. Currently, Adult Sunday School is postponed due to COVID-19.

Children’s Ministry (Postponed Due to COVID-19)

Your children are welcome to join you in our worship service or they can participate in our Children’s Ministry. (Currently Children's Ministry is postponed due to COVID-19.) If you plan to utilize our Children’s Ministry when it is offered again, we suggest that you park in the Front Lot (closest to Route 7) and enter through the front double-doors leading to the Worship Center. Take the circular hallway to the left and it will lead you to the Children’s Ministry Wing for our secure check-in system.

ATTIRE

Comfortable attire is always appropriate. Ties and jackets are not necessary. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we do require that everyone who worships with us wears face coverings (Children under 10 and those with certain preexisting conditions are exempted), social distances, and refrains from direct contact with others. We apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort this might cause.

PARKING

We have two parking lots. If you’re coming from Route 7/Lewinsville Road, the first lot on your left is adjacent to the worship center. The second lot on your left leads to our Church Office and Education Wing. The second lot is not being used during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, we're asking everyone to park in the front (first) lot and enter the church through the front entrance. Thank you for your cooperation during this difficult time.
